From consumer PR to crisis management – and literally everything in between - we help clients across the UK and around the world to build their brand, implement effective comms strategies and engage with their audiences better than ever before.
We’re looking for an SAE, AM and SAM to join their award-winning health practice. Based in our London head office within the wider Corporate team, you’ll be responsible for managing the delivery of effective and creative communications solutions for a range of exciting UK, pan-African and global clients ranging from NGOs, charities, the NHS, health services and public health bodies.
You’ll be fully adept at building strong relationships with the media, particularly national and trade health journalists both in the UK and beyond – with the top tier contacts to show for it – writing compelling content, and a skilled people and account manager.
You’ll have the opportunity to help build our growing health practice, taking a leading role in pitches, new business opportunities and marketing. You’ll also work with other teams across our global network.
KEY DELIVERABLES
 Act as the primary contact to clients, continually fostering the client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource to clients
 Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence, while mentoring junior team members
 Develop and deliver high quality communications programmes across owned, earned and shared channels – with a particular focus on media relations and digital/social media
 Resolves client issues and has clarity about desired outcomes, escalating as appropriate and recommending best approach to senior account lead
 Develops new business leads and assists in the negotiation process with prospective and existing clients and suppliers.
 Supports the senior directors in delivering the new business process, leveraging the skills and experience of the wider team

ABOUT YOU
 PR agency experience, with previous experience in health
 Has sharp business and PR acumen to quickly determine short and long term priorities for self and junior team members to ensure all client needs are met
 Experienced in managing and working on a diverse range of accounts
 Strategic, analytical thinker with the initiative to see a program through from start to finish
 Strong understanding of both traditional and digital public relations
 A strong media handler, with a little black book of health contacts
 Digitally savvy
 Curious – a desire to learn, improve, apply new knowledge and develop self
 Excellent grasp of clients’ marketplaces, audiences and routes to market
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Creative thinker and problem solver
 Commercially aware and decisive
 Supportive, inspiring and motivational team player and leader
 Personal drive and passion for the industry
 Self-aware and able to adapt personal style and approach to clients and team
 Ability to juggle multiple and changing priorities
 Ability to assimilate information quickly and recommend a practical response
