EASTER FAVOURITES

28 March 2018

From overeating chocolate eggs, to extra days off work, and (hopefully) more sunshine, Easter really does deliver! Here are the top 5 things we’re looking forward to most about that long awaited Easter Weekend:

FOOD

Easter marks the end of lent, so we definitely let ourselves over indulge on all things chocolate! There’s something egg-celent about a large, hollow chocolate egg filled with even more chocolatey treats, hot cross buns doused in butter and having eggs for every meal!

TIME OFF WORK

We love JFL, but who doesn’t love a few extra days off to enjoy time with friends and family? Easter weekend means 2 additional days holiday and we’re certainly not complaining! Not sure how to spend your extra time off? Check out Time Out’s Easter in London blog here: https://www.timeout.com/london/things-to-do/easter-in-london

ANIMALS

Lambs, chicks and bunny rabbits. Need we say more?

EASTER EGG HUNTS

Whether you’re a kid or just a kid at heart, nothing beats an Easter egg hunt. Looking for something a little harder than your average clues? Why not opt for riddles or cryptograms instead? Or rather, skip the hunt and just eat the chocolate eggs instead (we promise we won’t tell).

CHANGE OF WEATHER

25th March 2018 marks the beginning of British Summer Time which means warmer, longer days, brighter evenings and summer just around the corner. Here’s what the JFL ladies are looking forward to most:

“Not freezing whilst waiting for transport and obviously an Aperol Spritz!” – Leila

“Getting home from work and it still being light outside!” – Tamsin

“Rose on my roof terrace and getting my tan back!” – Georgia

“Horse riding in the sunshine and rose in a beer garden on a summers evening!” – Carolyn

“Leaving the house without a huge coat on!” - Kate

Easter brings the opportunity for fresh starts, so if you're looking for a new PR & Comms role, then make sure to get in touch! Just send your CV to info@jflrecruit.com and the relevant consultant will get back to you.
