Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this position requires a creative, dynamic, accurate, detailed and confidential approach to all PR matters.

About the role:

• To effectively 'manage' the internal demands of inter-department communication, internal and external meetings and see actions points through to completion. All against the backdrop of a busy operational five-star hotel

• To be responsible for helping to identify a strategic approach to the rich variety of stories and press opportunities within the hotel and taking them to the media market. A natural creative ability is essential along with the mentality to craft clever and effective campaigns

• To help lead, develop and customise the stories into the best and most relevant media pitch - either by phone, meeting, email, social media platform or press release

• To act as a spokesperson for the hotel on a day to day basis, and liaise with the Managing Director on more sensitive issues

• To interact and, where appropriate, work with the local community leaders, local businesses, decision makers and opinion formers, VIPs, existing and potential clients, to maintain and enhance the image of the hotel.

• To keep updated on all trends / news / competitor activity /ideas in luxury industry.

• Proactively network the London and International social scene ensuring strong connections for the brand

• To be responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all organisation publications

• To be able to adapt stories from a Marketing Content Calendar and see PR angles and how to customise vlogs, blogs and video content for PR

• Ensure articulation of the hotel's desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the hotel, and assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external.
