Digital Communications Adviser

A global membership body with a focus on sustainability and environmental issues is looking for a Digital Communications Adviser to join their friendly in-house team! Working on an international scale, this role is the ideal opportunity for a Digital Account Manager or Senior Account Manager looking to take the lead on a number of key projects.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging digital communications, create innovative and impactful campaigns, and implement ideas across a variety of online platforms. This is a diverse role covering global stakeholders and external and internal communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating creative digital campaigns targeting key global stakeholders
  • Planning, managing and executing digital transformation projects
  • Updating web pages, developing content plans, and supporting content creation across all digital platforms, including web, members’ portal and social media
  • Leading on the development of creative visual content for use across various platforms
  • Guiding engagement on digital platforms, and shaping online conversation with stakeholders
  • Producing and sharing monthly evaluation reports on web analytics and social media performance and ensure this insight is used to improve digital outputs and engagement
  • Writing content for multiple platforms, including website, briefing notes, member newsletters, speeches and presentations
  • Overseeing the work of external agencies in support of the digital communications programme

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in digital communications, either within an agency or in-house environment
  • Demonstrable experience of using content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal
  • Proven knowledge and experience in the use of social media as part of professional communications and marketing activity, including scheduling software such as Hootsuite
  • Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating digital marketing campaigns, including paid social
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage the ongoing demands of high-level stakeholders • Ability to interpret creative briefs and turn concepts into solutions
  • Advanced skills across the Microsoft Office and Adobe suites, and with Google Analytics would be an advantage
  • Strong project management skills
