A leading global agency, who work with some of the world’s most well-known brands across a variety of sectors, are currently searching for an ambitious and driven Associate to join their Political and Regulatory team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hugely successful agency, who have offices in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East and Asia, providing expert strategic advice and execution to major clients. Responsibilities:

• Providing support in tracking policy developments

• Media and political monitoring

• Complex research

• Helping to execute clients’ public affairs strategies

• Meeting with clients

Requirements:

• Have a working knowledge of UK Government and parliamentary procedure and institutions. Parliamentary or public affairs experience would be advantageous Understanding of the value of public affairs and how it fits into clients’ objectives A good understanding of how the city and the broader financial community operates

• Hard-working, flexible, adaptable and proactive

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• The ability to build strong, trusted relationships with others

• Be confident, ambitious and demonstrate knowledge of, and genuine enthusiasm for, politics and public affairs

• Be an enthusiastic and reliable team player with a ‘can do’ attitude while also being able to work independently and take initiative as appropriate
