Our client, a high profile and successful technology PR agency is looking for an entrepreneurially-minded Account Manager with B2B technology, corporate, or financial PR experience to lead on a number of clients across the fast-growth technology, innovation, and investment ecosystem.
• You’ll be the point person for a portfolio of clients drawn from across their roster – from fast-growing technology companies to VC firms, from innovative corporates to leading ecosystem events and initiatives.
• You’ll be responsible for the development of strategic communications plans and ensure your teams are delivering against those plans.
• You’ll be a trusted source of consultative guidance for your clients.
• You’ll have incredible opportunities to learn and grow – both through internally- and externally-led training events.
• You’ll play an active role in the growth of the business – through participating in the development and delivery of new business proposals and pitches, through participation in various working groups (covering areas from client services culture, marketing to mental health, media engagement to DEI), and by line managing and training junior team members.
• You’ll have your voice heard, thanks to their open, democratic, and accountable approach to running the business.
• You’ll be part of a smart, ambitious, entrepreneurial team that is driven to make real strategic and commercial impact for clients above and beyond what they expect of PR.
Ideal Candidate
• Prior experience working with fast-growth technology companies or venture capital firms in some capacity is desirable, but not necessary. A demonstrable strong interest in the ecosystem, how it works, and how the companies within it are driving change in society and the economy, is a must, however.
• You will have an entrepreneurial streak and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to hold your own in a room full of senior stakeholders.
• Excellent Media Relation skills and a good network.
